Little Green Tree House-Lincoln Park is looking for enthusiastic and caring teachers who are dedicated to fostering the growth of children. Our team consists of passionate educators who understand child development and want to work in an eco-friendly environment that fosters personal growth.

We are looking for candidates that have interest in working in the field of Early Childhood Education. We are looking for candidates that are dedicated to working with children and are willing to grow within our company. While these positions are Part-Time, and there is potential for additional hours.

We offer competitive compensation and tuition reimbursement for students pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Establishes and maintains a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Ensure that classroom environment and procedures meet DCFS standards
• Prevents injuries and handles emergencies, accidents, and injuries appropriately when they occur. Helps a class of children learn in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the Company and Center.
• Treats each child with dignity and respect.
• Recognizes and considers the background, handicaps, special talents and interests, style and pace of learning of each child.
• Maintains professional conduct in working with parents and staff, as well as visitors and the general public.

Qualifications:

• Experience with children.
• A high school diploma is required.
• Must be available to work the same hours, Monday through Friday.
• Able to complete a background check & health physical.

COVID-19 Precautions:

• Per DCFS, All Licensed Day Care Center Workers must have: at a minimum, the first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
