Title: Client Services Coordinator
Report to: Administrator/Director of Nursing/ Field Nurse
Mission: To perform administrative and office support activities for the Administrator, Director of Nursing, (DON), Field Nurses
Duties and responsibilities
- Answers inquiries of a general nature from applicants, brief questions from our clients and providers.
- Answers phone in a timely manner.
- Work well independently.
- Multi-task.
- Word Processing.
- Filing and faxing.
- Internet Research.
- Performing general administrative duties.
- Assist with the intake of new clients from our providers and families.
- Compose correspondence /reports.
- Assumes various duties as directed by the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
- Maintain Client files
- Process New Clients
- Notify Nurses when their 45-90 days home visits are due
- Coordinate Client care with families
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Conditions:
- It is primarily a desk job which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
- It requires minimal lifting of office records and supplies.
- The ability to read 12 points and a larger type is required.
- One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Must have good listening skills.
Equipment Operation
- The job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience as Client Services Coordinator, preferably in the health field.
- Should be a skilled organizer able to manage office files.
- Must possess light secretarial skills and have polite telephone manner.
