Houseperson - Maintenance
We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as an overnight houseperson. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, cleaning public bathrooms, driving the airport shuttle, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. If you take pride in a clean space and love working on a team, fill out an application. This is a part-time position.
Only applicants that live in or near Helena will be considered for this position.
Compensation:$13 - $15 hourly
Responsibilities:- Close and lock building doors for security once cleaning is complete
- Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made
- Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash
- Replace light bulbs, clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis as scheduled
- Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
- Great physical health and stamina
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required
- 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position
