2023 ELEMENTARY SUMMER LIBRARY PROGRAM
PART-TIME LIBRARIANS/TEACHERS
Needs for positions may change. Positions will be based on student enrollment and needs.
Vacancies exist for part-time librarians/teachers for the Elementary Summer Library Program which will be held at Bedington Elementary, Berkeley Heights Elementary, Gerrardstown Elementary, Hedgesville Elementary, Rosemont Elementary and Valley View Elementary two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM (work day). Preference will be given to applicants possessing the following:
- West Virginia teacher certification in library/media science or elementary education
- Existing staff at the aforementioned schools in which the Elementary Summer Library Program will be held
- Staff with previous experience in the Elementary Summer Library Program
EMPLOYMENT TERM: June 21, 2023 – July 13, 2022 (two days per week)
WORK HOURS: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
SALARY: $200.00 per session
Specialized Skills
West Virginia teacher certification in library media or elementary education.
