John R Porter, MD, PA is a small Pediatric practice in Richardson, TX. We focus on personalized care for children from birth to 18 years of age. We provide a comfortable and caring environmet for our patients and employees. Our smaller office allows us to truely get to know our children and provide the best possible care.

I am looking for a registered nurse to join our pediatric clinic. I have had a well established pediatric practice in Richardson Texas for 30 years. I am a solo practicioner and my smaller practice enables us to build a close connection and relationship with our patients and fellow employees.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and families
• Return phone calls to triage and discuss patient and parent concerns.
• Educate families on development, breast feeding and behavior.
• Ensure patient records are up to date and accurate.
• Maintain clinic supplies and equipment.
• Assist with medical-surgical procedures as needed.
• Provide patient education materials as needed.
• Assist with pediatric procedures as needed.
• Administer vaccines and medications.
• Become familiar and proficient with EPIC medical EMR.
• Occasionally room patients checking height, weight and vitals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
