We are looking to hire a Parts Counter Person in our used parts department. The position we are looking to fill will primarily focus on entering parts into inventory. An ideal candidate will have some automotive parts experience. In order to be successful in this field you must have some interest in the automotive industry. We are willing to train the right individual.

• Strong work ethic. You will be expected to be to work on time and to have excellent attendance.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Basic computer knowledge. Typing, Email, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Basic Internet Searching, Our parts lookup system is all computer based.

• Professional phone etiquette skills.

• A willingness to learn and perform multiple job duties.

• A willingness to work in all weather conditions. This position is mostly in-doors but you will be asked to perform some work outside during all seasons.

• Basic knowledge for operating heavy equipment safely ie: skid steer, front end Loader (willing to train the right person)

• Valid Driver's License

A few of the job responsibilities are:

• Selling used and new automotive parts. (phone calls, online and over the counter)

• Answering phone calls for our parts and metal recycling departments.

• Will be cross-trained with our metal buyer to help with purchasing metal when our buyer has time off.

• Entering parts into our yard management system. This includes taking quality pictures and entering accurate part descriptions.

• Accurately putting parts in their bin locations.

• Packaging and shipping parts. This will be one of the main daily responsibilities.

• Basic cleaning, sweeping and helping with snow cleanup.

• Helping with all other aspects of an Automotive Salvage Yard.

The hourly wage for this position depends on the person. We are willing to pay a very competitive wage for the right individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
