What does the ideal candidate look like for Peninsula Hearing?:

Peninsula Hearing is looking for a full time front office person to support our Poulsbo and Port Townsend offices. This person understands the value that as a front office person, you are the first and last impression of the practice. This means you know how to set and end the tone for the patient’s visit. You have the ability to work with a variety of patients and provide excellent customer service. You are able to use MS Office Suite programs like Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook. This person has the ability to serve the patients in the office while managing the incoming phone calls in an effective manner.

What does a typical day look like for a Front Office Person at Peninsula Hearing?:

Throughout the day, you will be orchestrating a symphony of patients coming in and out of the office, handling incoming calls, and interacting with audiologists. You will greet patients and provide excellent patient service. You may be recruited to assist with patient testing as needed and will be taught some minor hearing aid maintenance procedures such as cleaning and repairs. You will help track and report daily scheduling metrics to manage the office support accordingly. You will have access to patient medical records to maintain, provide billing and scheduling support. This means you will need to maintain confidentiality for each patient you help support. This symphony will keep you busy.

What you bring to the Peninsula Hearing?:

We are looking for a candidate who has a HS Diploma. An AA degree is preferred. Two years of front office experience is ideal. Your ability to work independently and have a keen eye for detail and organization are markers of success for this role because you will be juggling a lot of information. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other team members is necessary. Your willingness to grow and evolve as a team member at Peninsula in roles and responsibility will be essential as the company grows.
