SGD Payments team is a small team which enables our staff to grow through handling a wider variety of tasks and responsibilities. As a Payments Specialist, you will be involved in processing payments, helping the CS team with Payments related player queries, handling ad-hoc contacts with Payment providers and Partners to determine transaction issues. In addition, the role entails performing payments reversals, light-touch risk assessments of new/current players throughout customer journey, actively participating in improving internal procedures and processes linked to Payments processing. An average work day will involve checking game play, withdrawal requests and verifying due diligence documents from the customers.

  Overseeing the payments processing function and ensuring quickest possible turnaround times on customer withdrawals.
• Provide “Know Your Customer” and documents based verification services to customers.
• Collaborating with Risk analysts to mitigate damaging activities.
• Assisting Player Support Representatives with account reviews and payment processing.
• Proactively remaining current with internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Detect and report suspicious account activities according to Internal policies.
• Ensure fraudulent transactions or activity are spotted and handled swiftly in order to minimize losses.
• Assess and escalate cases to the responsible departments.
• Work together with other departments in order to continuously improve internal processes and enhance capabilities.
• Handling contacts with Players, Payment providers and Partners.
• Understanding of all SGD implemented payment methods and processing flows.

• Work experience from previous Online Casino/Risk and/or Payments Management: knowledge of online money processing – credit cards and alternative payment methods.
• Proficient in MS Office tools and Excel in particular
• Strong analytical skills/critical thinking
• Professional attitude towards the business, service oriented, team player
• Ability to work independently and deliver under time pressure
• Good communication and soft skills, with a second language as advantage
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Meticulous: detail oriented and thorough
• Decisive: ability to make critical decisions and defend when being challenged
