Responsibilities:
The OHH System Payroll Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the processing and payment of all payrolls for Oklahoma Heart Hospital and related entities. This position will also assist with other general accounting and accounts payable functions. This position interacts with a wide variety of personnel in all departments of the hospital. The Payroll Administrator will perform all work in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
- Gather information from the time and attendance system within the time frame established to enable the timely and accurate processing of payroll. Review time and attendance transactions for completeness and appropriate departmental approval.
- Process any pay adjustments or deductions received from authorized personnel.
- Assist with computing the biweekly payroll and notify management and the designated team member of the amount required to fund the payroll. Also communicate the amount of payroll taxes and employee benefit deductions that need to be disbursed.
- Ensure that Direct Deposit files are transmitted and processed by the bank in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the Internal Control checklist is followed during the processing of payroll. Make chanages as necessary to help guarantee the accuracy of all payroll calcuations.
- Prepare payroll deduction check requests and forward all payroll deduction reports and schedules the the appropriate third parties.
- Process all garnishments and tax levies in accordance with applicable statutes. Notify employee of garnishments and levies.
Education: High School education or equivalent.
