This position is located at our Headquarters in Marietta
This is a full-time in office role.
To be successful in this role you have to have a keen attention to detail and love to get into the weeds with numbers. You have outstanding analytical skills and can work well with deadlines.
You enjoy working with other team members to resolve payroll and benefits concerns and can answer questions about payments, time off and benefits in a friendly and timely manner.
You understand that when it comes to payroll there are strict company policies and legal regulations that vary by state, and you make sure to keep up to date with them and follow them precisely.
Administration:
-
Accurately and efficiently communicate face to face and digitally with team members, prospective team members and vendors as needed for your role

Ensure all processes and procedures needed to achieve all required tasks related to your role are completed accurately and efficiently

Maintain compliance with the intent of all laws, government regulations, dealer agreements, vendor agreements, tax regulations and company policies and procedures.

Understand the duties of the position and perform them without being told.
Maintain privacy and security standards regarding team member and/or company sensitive information
Benefits and Team Member services-
Calculate and Breakdown monthly charges for Benefits invoices and email to accounting by the last day of the month. -
Reconcile all monthly insurance statements to ensure they match team member payroll deductions. Ensure all deductions are correct in ADP. Report any discrepancies to the HR Director for back billing and research.

Effectively and efficiently enter and manage Child support orders and wage garnishments by the deadlines and according to policy and the laws of the state jurisdiction.

Effectively and efficiently manage team member benefits enrollments by verifying and submitting enrollments to the carrier, communicating with team members, brokers and the HR Director regarding employee benefits enrollments.

Assist the HR Director with open enrollment.

Effectively and Efficiently support the day-to-day administrative needs of the Human Resources Department including but not limited to managing team member payroll deductions, Uniform orders , inventory management and distributions, Bereavement donations and flowers, filing and new hire folder review.

Manage team member time off requests according to company policy including Covid time off requests.

Assist in filing Workers Comp claims within 24 hours of incident or within 24 hours from when first notified of injury. Be able to provide requested documents and information to the WC insurance company.Communicate with the WC insurance company and the HR director regarding claim status and return to work. (Determinations for light duty will be made by the HR Director)

Respond professionally to acknowledge all emails and cc HR Director on all communications with managers, team members, vendors or any other party regarding HR issues , questions or inquiries.

Forward all emails not pertaining to job duties to the appropriate HR staff member.

Assist the HR Director in special projects, setting up for annual meetings, compliance training ,Team member support and wellness programs etc..

Assist with other HR responsibilities in the absence of other HR staff.
Payroll:

Enter special batches into ADP and complete payroll support spreadsheet

View timecard exceptions and do final approval prior to payroll.

Accurately enter payroll data following Mountain Motorsports guidelines and submit by the ADP payroll deadline.

Perform and record random audits after each payroll has been submitted.

Perform and record results of bi-monthly timecard audits.

Take two or more HR related education courses a year. Online or in person. (HR Director will select required training courses)

Regular predictable attendance is required to support team members and staff.
