Job Title: Operating Room RN (peds)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $130 - $140/hr | $4600 - $4800/wk. (Based of experience)
Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Operating Room RN to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have the skills and expertise to provide care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures with critical care needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of perioperative care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Administer medications and anesthesia as per the physicians' orders
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood gases, and other relevant data before, during and after surgical procedures
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Ensure proper documentation of patient information to maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure a safe and effective surgical experience for the patient
- Maintain a clean and organized OR environment, following proper infection control protocols
