The Zuri Pet Spa & Resort is now seeking a Pet Care Technician/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. We are hiring at both our beautiful locations - San Juan Capistrano & Rancho Mission Viejo!
Pet Care Technicians
Provide world-class care to our furry guests. Our Pet Care Technicians ensure our guests have happy and healthy stays. Varied and engaging tasks include feeding, dispensing medications, exercising and cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, walking of the animals
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, medications, items brought in and other updates
- Assist in restraining animals for private play, and private feeding
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Front Desk Receptionist:
Provide first class treatment to all our guests. Our receptionists must be highly personable and enjoy customer interaction. Our receptionists will handle check in's and out of our clients pets for various services. Great verbal communication skills and pleasant upbeat phone personality is a must. Multi-tasking and prioritizing a heavy workload of phones and walk in traffic.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields such as housekeeping, grooming, bathing, and canine daycare attendants preferred but will train.
- Passion to help and care for animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 40lbs & stand for long periods of time
- Must be available weekends and holidays
