ACL is searching for an energetic, self-motivated phlebotomist to join our dynamic team.

As a Phlebotomy Services Rep your job responsibilities and duties will include:

• Collection of blood and urine samples from all age groups
• Collection of Forensics and Federal drug screen
• Proper identification and accurate labeling of patient’s samples
• Process samples by centrifuging and pouring off serum/plasma
• Working with laboratory information system
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgement
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
• Must demonstrate superior customer focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Respects and follows patient confidentiality laws
• Must act as a coach, mentor and resource provider for new and current staff, assisting with new hire's transition into the PSC work environment and the familiarity with established procedures, as well as the point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
• Must maintain audit readiness for their site.
• Must communicate professionally with clients to resolve or refer, and document problems, prepare problem documentation and report critical issues as they occur.
• Process and collect billing payments
• Stocks and organizes laboratory supplies and maintains company inventory records
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Respects and follows patient confidentiality laws

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months in a PSC environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations within a 36-month period
• Computer Knowledge
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and irregular hours as needed
