PART TIME - BLUE HERON & YOSEMITE GRILL PREP COOK

PAY: DOE

The Prep Cook is responsible for preparation of all foods requiring pre-opening preparation and ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operations in accordance with YLOA specifications and standards.

Job Duties:

· Responsible for preparing all dressings and sauces

· Responsible for daily preparation of pizza dough

· Responsible for daily preparation of all items needed for nightly service

· Must follow all recipes and kitchen procedures

· Responsible for prepping sliced meats and cheeses

· Must maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements:

· High school Diploma or GED

· 1-2 years of experience in a culinary position

· Must have good vision (with correction) and be able to hear in a sometimes loud environment (with correction)

· Have a general understanding of food handling and safety rules

· Must be able to accurately convert measurements depending on recipe requirements

· Must be able to walk and stand for duration of shift

· Must be able to lift 25-30lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs

· Must be able to tolerate sometimes extreme working conditions (humidity, hot/cold temperatures, kitchen environment
