*THIS POSITION COVERS CALHOUN, JACKSON, PLEASANTS, RITCHIE, ROANE, AND TYLER COUNTIES IN WEST VIRGINIA.*

Nature of Work Responsible for the day-to-day operation of agency prevention program. Manages program development, quality assurance and staff supervision.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Prevention Program. Supervises and motivates staff to work toward program goals and objectives. Ensures staff meet service expectations.

· Manages the program budget ensuring expenses remain within budget and revenues are meeting grant expectations

· Oversees staff in provision of evidence based education programming, positive alternative youth activities, information dissemination and additional prevention strategies.

· Documents activities and services in a complete accurate and timely manner according to regulatory agency’s regulations and Westbrook policy.

· Responsible for compliance with state and federal regulations to ensure continued funding of the prevention program. Pursues additional funding opportunities as needed.

· Maintains level of service delivery consistent with Westbrook expectations and standards

· Works with staff, clients and others in a professional ethical and respectful manner.

· Maintains a level of attendance consistent with Westbrook Health Services policy.

· Complies with Westbrook’s Safety policies

Qualification Requirements:

· Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals

· Must be able to give public presentations

· Must work well in a team environment.

· Work with staff, consumers and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful and effective manner.

· Ability to work with a diverse group of people

· Must have valid driver’s license and Automobile Insurance

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree, prior computer/PC experience using computerized Medical Records and scheduling systems is preferred, but not required. Incumbent must also possess basic math skills. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background check as well as post offer drug screen.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility and ability to sit for long periods of time use a standard computer keyboard, bend, reach and lifts up to 30 pounds are required in this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
