First Choice Health Centers has an immediate opening for a full time Primary Care Physician (East Hartford).

We are a rapidly growing nonprofit health center (FQHC) comprised of Physicians, PAs/NPs, Behavior Health Clinicians, Dentists and other health care personnel. Responsible for providing coordinated and quality primary care services to patients utilizing the clinical services of First Choice Health Centers (Center). Clinical services provided shall include routine, appropriate, acute and chronic disease care, and ambulatory care as assigned and as dictated by specific training certification and licensure.

Skills:

• Experience in ambulatory primary care setting preferred
• Experience performing therapeutic procedures
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Interest in serving low income-multicultural populations

Education:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
• Federal and State Controlled Substance Licenses
• BLS Certification
