Job description
As a Print Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the estimating department. This includes estimating material and production costs, offset and digital printing, wide format, mailing, and inventory management and fulfillment. This is a remote position for a company located in Indianapolis, IN.
What you will do:
- Use Metrix software to produce cost-effective estimates and advise/guide internal account managers
- Add value to each job by offering options and cost savings by suggesting alternative stocks or finishing techniques and consult with department managers when needed.
- Meet or exceed monthly metrics and ensure jobs are estimated within the company’s set goals.
- Monitor materials and spoilage to ensure up-to-date costs are supplied and estimated
- Consult with purchasing department to maintain a list of quality-approved and competitive suppliers and their current price list
- Build a healthy and effective relationship with all vendors in order to create clear communication of expectations

Qualifications:
- High School diploma - Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Experience with broad knowledge of offset printing and all associated processes
- Prior estimating experience is preferred
- Proficient in the following: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, E32, and Metrix
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
