JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and sustain processes in a semiconductor fabrication facility
• Developing and sustaining robust plating and wet clean production processes for multiple product lines
• Tool startup, process qualification, troubleshooting problems, supporting yield enhancement programs, cost and cycle time improvements, characterizing and releasing process improvements
• Development of new plating and wet clean processes and equipment evaluation
• SPC control of Wet Clean/CMP/Plate processes and related equipment
• Postion will be scheduled for 8-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/MS/PhD in engineering or physical science
• 2 years of experience in plating or wet clean processes in semiconductor fabrication preferred.
• Semiconductor device processing background with experience in plating and wet clean process preferred.
• Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required.
• Proficiency expected in design of experiments, statistical process control, and database query tools
• Knowledge of fab metrology equipment, failure analysis techniques and process control techniques is required
• Applicant will be a self-starter that is capable of integrating diverse process and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Job function requires support of a manufacturing facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
• Some lifting and standing will be required.
• Direct experience with semiconductor thin films characterization or development
• Experience with semiconductor process flow integration and device physics
