Job Highlights:

• Follow written methods of sequence of operations in performing various machine operation, auxiliary equipment or assembly tasks
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to product and process
• Identify and record any problems relating to the product and process
• Recommend or provide solution through designated channels
• Troubleshoots problem jobs
• Maintain all set up tools and supplies
• Assist in training production support people
• Understand and follow the Mold Tag System
• Operate auxiliary equipment or do assembler at the press
• Comply with the operators quality standard sheet or quality guidelines from floor inspectors for specific jobs
• Coach lower level production operators to perform tasks as needed
• Keep work areas clean

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and aptitude skills
• Knowledge of plastic components and the ability to select components to meet the requirements
• Experience in the use of PC-based software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and project planning
• Understanding of the use of tools for continuous improvement such as control charts and other graphical tools, design of experiments and reliability
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs with a buddy
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs
