Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has 2 exciting opportunities for an experienced supply chain contracts professional to join our Structures Contracts North American team as a Procurement Agent Manager (Level K) in Everett, WA and North Charleston, SC.

In this leadership role, you will lead a team of Procurement Agents responsible for performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, performing proposal analysis, and negotiating and executing contractual agreements with our suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.

  • Develops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in contracts, procurement and/or supply chain processes

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

  • 5+ years of experience establishing positive relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, partners, peers, and suppliers

  • 5+ years of experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using data to develop contract and/or procurement strategies and recommendations

  • 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally ( approximately 25% of work time)

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $123,500 - $139,000
