Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) position. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a Supplier Management team responsible for contracting and management of the Standards commodities supporting multiple BGS-Government platforms/programs as well as providing functional support to a virtual team.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood, MO; Renton, WA. This position supports a virtual team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

  • This position will also require proven ability to operate in a collaborative environment developing strong relationships across teams and functions to ensure overall success of aggressive business objectives in a dynamic environment.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a commercial/government Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager or Supply Base Manager.

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, large-scale logistics or supply chain management services for a global organization.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience (team lead/project manager/manager)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Experience with business strategy execution plans

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

  • Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 110,500 – 159,850.
