Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical is seeking an Product Manager join the team.
The Product Manager is responsible for providing local leadership, developing and driving capabilities of assigned manufacturing sites. This role will work fluidly with manufacturing, sales, segment, marketing, supply chain, and R&D personnel to support the strategies for designated capabilities with the primary objective of achieving profitable growth and long-term competitiveness

Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 + years in technical sales, engineering, or new business development
Preferred:
- Experience in ISO13485 and FDA regulated medical manufacturing environments
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with, and commercial team on strategic quotes; ensuring costing/ accuracy
- Align local activities with other internal stakeholders as part of business planning process
- Support launch and positioning of new products, materials, processes and/or services
- In collaboration with Market Segment Managers identify product and capability gaps in the current portfolio required to effectively serve the target markets and customers
- Scout new capabilities, technology, and materials to help advance innovation activities that align with market needs as identified by the Segment Management team
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to develop strategy for technology advancements and development projects
- Provide capability training for commercial team
- Work with commercial team to continually manage project portfolio
- Support in execution of strategic customer projects
- Participate in industry tradeshows
- Provide support and mentorship for engineering and manufacturing teams
- Track lifecycle and vitality index, recommending product line rationalization as needed
- Support General Manager with writing annual business plan
- Work with internal team to ensure the rapid response of request for proposals
- Supply Marketing and Global Operations site-specific information to assist in both the acquisition of new business as well as better alignment of H&M’s existing competencies
- Support the commercial team at customer meetings to promote the technical competency of assigned sites
Travel:
Up to 40% of travel (domestic and international) may be required.
