Production Manager
PalletOne, the nation’s largest manufacturer of new, wooden pallets, is looking for an experienced and energetic Production Manager to oversee the production process at our Robertsdale, AL location. This role will make vital contributions to the operation through the planning and execution of an efficient production process. The successful candidate will utilize a number of research tools and analytics to establish and direct these processes on a daily basis.
Primary Duties
- Build production schedules that optimize the use of raw materials and machine time
- Ensure production processes stay within budgets and meet deadlines
- Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff
- Develop workflow policies and procedures that promote efficiency
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
- Ensure that all safety and health standards are met to keep the operation accident free
