The ideal candidate for a Production Planner would be able to do the following:

• Review and analyze stocking levels for all current and future kanban.
• Capacity modeling for better flexibility of resources to help manage demand fluctuations in all Value Streams.
• Cycle counting program with emphasis in driving to root cause and analyzing optimum stocking levels.
• Assist in future lead time reduction strategies.
• Maintain working knowledge of where orders are in the process and expedite as needed.
• Manage assembly schedules with precise detail and accuracy.

For a candidate to be successful as a Production Planner they must have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in operations/planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field, or relevant experience
• Working knowledge of an ERP system
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures with Lean practices
