The company we're hiring for is located on Indy's South East side. We have an outstanding career opportunity available with at least 1 year of supervision work experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Successful candidates will be punctual, self-motivated, and have great communication skills. Communication with other departments, employees, vendors, etc. will be part of your daily job. We're looking for someone that is accountable, personable and a quick learner that takes an interest in providing exceptional service to our employees and customers.

Role and Responsibilities

· Supervise extrusion operators with an emphasis on safety

· Resolve daily problems within the plant

· Responsible for overseeing quality for the shift

· Responsible for training extrusion operators

· Periodic safety training for operators

· Ability to communicate with other supervisors at shift change

· Ensure all proper reports are completed

· Accountable for professional interactions with all employees, including co-workers, team leads, supervisors, managers, and administration

· All other duties and tasks as may be directed from time to time

Preferred Skills

· Interpersonal and conflict management skills to build and maintain relationships

· Strong problem solving, data analysis, data entry, time management, and organizational skills

· Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

· Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture and dirty environments

· Forklift experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,724.77 - $62,283.41 per year
