Professional Dog walkers wanted to join our amazing team at Spoiled Pooch.

Seeking locals near Marina del Rey / Playa Vista

Schedule is Monday thru Friday

4-6 hours a day; 12pm- 6pm

20-30 hours a week starting at $18 an hour

Must love dogs, have their own reliable transportation and smart phone, and be in good physical health. Some of our clients dogs are large breed (all are friendly) so you will need to be confident and strong enough to handle walking them. If it is not a good fit we will not pair you with that client.

The first position available is for a Private DOG WALKER: walking 1-2 dogs at a time (one client).

What your work day would look like: You would follow your schedule in the app (no it is not Wag) and drive to individual clients homes in and around Marina del Rey, Venice, Culver City, Palms, and Mar Vista. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.655 per mile.

Once you arrive at clients home you will follow instructions in the app to enter clients home and leash their dog(s) using our own leash(es). Start the app timer and take a nice walk around the neighborhood for booked time (walk times range from: 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min). After the walk is finished, safely return the dogs to their home and send client an update and photos through the app. Drive to your next client and repeat.

The second position available for a GROUP DOG WALKER. Similar to the above but you would be picking up 2-4 dogs from different clients and driving them in your car to a fun location to meet up and walk/hike all of the dogs together for one to two hours. You can meet up with other team members and walk together.

Overnight pet sitting is also available as extra income, we can discuss during the phone interview.

This is a fun, active, rewarding part time job. Looking for team members that want to stay with the company for years. No temporary hires as we aim to build long term relationships with our clients. In business since 2012.

COVID-19 considerations:
You may wear a mask if you choose to, some clients will request you to wear a mask during pick up and drop off. Very little contact with other people, only dogs. We are using our own company leash to limit spreading germs.
