Lowe Engineers is looking for a Professional Land Surveyor who must be licensed in GA and other states throughout the southeastern US are bonus, and capable of obtaining licenses in other states. The candidate must have 10 years of experience and be willing to work in the office and the field and be capable and willing to travel when necessary. Candidate’s experience should include boundary, topo, geodetic, GPS, and construction surveying, and he/she must be able to process data using Carlson, AutoCAD and other surveying software. Candidates should also have good leadership and communication skills.

Requirements:

Qualifications: The candidate must have 10 years of experience and be willing to work in the office and the field and be capable and willing to travel when necessary. Candidates experience should include boundary, topo, geodetic, GPS, and construction surveying, and he/she must be able to process data using Carlson, AutoCAD and other surveying software. Candidates should also have good leadership and communication skills & have a valid driver’s license.

Essential Job Functions: Supervise and run survey crew operations, Perform ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Plat of Highways, Route, and Maintain and adhere to QA/QC procedures/note taking and maintaining office and field project material, Construction layout, ability to read and comprehend Construction Plans, Perform record search at recorders offices and government entities, Prepare legal descriptions. Sign and Seal all survey plans prepared and calculate, Business development/Marking of Survey skills.

Physical demands: Sit for extended periods, frequently stand and walk; Have manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination needed to use a variety of office equipment such as computers, telephones, calculators, copiers, and topographic surveying equipment; Have corrected vision in order to review plans and specifications and perform other essential functions of the job.

Environmental Factors: Works indoors and out-of-doors year round. Works around traffic and automobile fumes. Incumbents may be subjected to dusts, fumes, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, and intense noises.
