Program Manager
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Program Manager to oversee our Deaf Supported Living and Community Residential Services in Minneapolis. These programs offer long-term housing and intensive supportive services in a community setting to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, with a concentrated focus on deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
The Program Manager is responsible for leading a team of supervisors and ensuring that services are delivered per organizational and licensing requirements and for providing guidance to staff on integrated care model planning for clients.
Hiring Range: $62,000 - $68,000 annually, depending on qualifications plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, plus some flexibility to support staffing on evenings, weekends and overnights

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, human services, or business administration.
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of prior supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and using data to establish goals, monitor implementation, and establish program initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Strongly prefer fluency in American Sign Language
  • Current and valid LALD (licensed assisted living director)
  • Master’s Degree in the behavioral sciences or related field (i.e. social work, psychology, marriage, and family therapy from an accredited college or university)
  • Three years or 6,000 hours of prior experience in the human services field with a preference toward servicing those with mental health symptoms.
  • Three years of prior supervisory experience, OR
    o Two years or 4,000 hours of prior supervisory experience, and
    o Completion of People Incorporated’s Link to Leadership Program.
Main Duties:
  • Responsible for the development of assigned staff and establishing expectations consistent with organizational culture, values, and mission to achieve safe and high quality services
  • Develop Residential Supervisor and new staff onboarding processes and training.
  • Develop and manage a master schedule to track vacancies and recruiting needs. Serve as the lead in the recruitment for open positions and work closely with talent partners.
  • Create an environment to ensure the delivery of highly reliable, quality client care that supports best practices and integration of the care mission.
  • Partner with the director to make changes to program policies, procedures, or protocols to address compliance issues.
  • Responsible for the oversight of financial impact of program area to ensure revenue targets are met and sustained and initiates service growth in partnership with Director.
