DeVine provides technical and scientific support to government clients in Oceanography & Atmospheric Science among other technical disciplines.

Our company is looking for a Program Manager to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.

DeVine contributes to projects in remote sensing, modeling, and scientific analysis of the Earth’s atmosphere and ocean and land surfaces, as well as astronomy and astrometry. We help our clients test and operate space-based, air-based, subsurface, and land and ocean surface-based sensors. We also collaborate to projects that develop new remote sensing capabilities and new ways of analyzing data.

The Program Manager will be DeVine's primary contact collaborating with various government and company stakeholders. The successful hire will provide overall responsibility for the success of this long term contract. The Program Manager will also contribute to recruiting, training, and retaining a high-quality, diverse workforce.

Requirements and preferred experience:

  • B.S. or above in a Physical Science, Engineering, Mathematics or the equivalent degree in related field

  • 5+ years' managing scientific, engineering, computing and technical personnel working on R&D projects in or very similar to the following: Remote Sensing, Exradiative transfer, electromagnetic scattering, transmission, absorption and emission, scientific and atmospheric modeling
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Prior experience working in Federal projects required
  • Current Secret clearance or higher required
