JOB DESCRIPTION
To enhance the processes at Skyway to improve the Safety, Cost, Quality and Productivity of the organization.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review of Customer supplied Drawings/ Blueprints.
- Prepare Perishable tooling for new processes.
- Assist Engineering in Fixture design and development.
- Responsible for all fixture design approval, with Engineering Manager acting as second.
- Coordinate internal fixture builds.
- Create CNC programming for new processes and improvement of current processes.
- Work with Manufacturing to coordinate new process run off’s to insure Quality and that the process meets the run at rate.
- Provide support for all balance Equipment at Skyway Precision, Inc.
- Responsible for process flow design utilizing Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Participate in external/internal Corrective Actions as it relates to product manufacturing techniques.
- Monitor Company perishable tooling usage and provide improvement plans and follow up with each facility as to progress towards achieving outlined goals.
- Assure that the approved processes are being followed and work with each facility’s management team when improvement opportunities are identified.
- Turn the cycle times in to engineering and post them on the machine.
- Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting processes and look for opportunities to decrease cycle times and improve perishable tool life.
- Work with outside perishable tooling sources in design and development of special tooling and coordinate test runs and follow up on deliveries and Quality of workmanship.
- Maintain cleanliness, good housekeeping, of area/cells and hold employees accountable for these tasks.
- Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).
- Follow general safety rules, procedures and regulations
- Perform Special Assignments as delegated.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 10 years experience in a Manufacturing Field.
5 years of Cutting tool experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
