Role Purpose Statement:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects within cross-functional teams, supporting optimal process flow, appropriate cost application and cost evaluation in order to optimize pricing and profitability.

Main Accountabilities

Ø Analyze inputs and documentation to determine customer needs, both internal and external, and develop respective deliverables

Ø Establish critical control points in the value stream to ensure that products meet financial planning, quality standards, and customer demand

Ø Analyze the impact of total cost of products and services on pricing and revenue

Ø Define and coordinate work packages of Cost Evaluation projects and Process Improvement Projects

Ø Generate transparency on project progress at the defined milestones; ensure identification and continued communication of critical situations within the project

Ø Create and implement measurement metrics which reflect project progress, data quality, performance and identify opportunities for improvement based on established KPI

Ø Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate waste and drive standardization and alignment across the stakeholders of a project

ØAssess Customer Profitability under consideration of cost evaluation and operational productivity

Ø Identify opportunities for additional margin improvement through analysis and management of customer projects to improve customer profitability

Ø Interpret specifications to assess cost requested products and services

Ø Respond to questions from Operations, Pricing and Sales on Labor and Material cost issues

Ø Identify new labor standards and collaborate with Industrial Engineers to set processes

Ø Analyze data to assist with reducing cost in the operations

Ø Interact with multiple functions to understand true food and labor costs

Ø Follow the costing methodology and ensure Total Cost accuracy

Ø Execute ad-hoc projects as required to support needs of Sales and Services and Operations personnel

Ø Projects meet deliverable timelines

Ø Data Quality KPI

Ø Meet Quantifyable Process Improvement Measures

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Competencies

Required

Ø Bachelor degree required, preferably in the field of Business, Data Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or Industrial Engineering

Ø Project management, Change management experience required

Ø Proven process improvement experience

Ø Proven analytical techniques, root cause analysis, mathematical and problem solving skills

Ø One to three year experience in analysis preferred

Ø Self-motivated and able to prioritize and multitask activities with strong attention to detail

Ø Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications; strong Excel, skills required

Ø Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems

Ø Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Ø Ability to travel

Preferred:

Ø Experience using Agile, Scrum methodologies

Ø Exposure to labor estimating systems

Pay: $76,276.00 - $83,741.00 per year
