Location: Dallas, TX

Contract Position - Minimum 8 Months


Description

This person will act as focal point in development, communication, and execution of multiple Supply Chain projects for TESS. Lead day to day Project Management activities and provide routine updates to leadership.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Familiarization with Project Management techniques including process mapping and documentation
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are completed within the defined time frames
  • Collaboration with other departments such as engineering, records, CMAC and Materials Management will be required to meet project objectives
  • Provides regular reports on the progress of projects as well as critical measures necessary to show the effectiveness of our project management practices. Metrics need to clearly identify accountabilities and shortfalls.
  • Coordinates project scope, planning, and execution activities between the business, IT and TESS cross-functional teams
  • Manages multiple concurrent projects including risks, issues, changes, and actions
  • Collaborates with business and IT to identify project requirements, develop a project plans, and manage implementations
  • Ability to analyze business processes, manuals, and training to ensure effective and efficient end-state processes and systems
  • Develop business cases and provide cost / benefit analyses for various initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years IT agile project management experience
  • Basic knowledge of Azure, MongoDB, SQL, Angular, .net, java preferred
  • Azure Dev Ops experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, project and Excel
  • Ability to effectively interpret data and summarize for leadership
  • Critical thinking and the ability to see business implications of a project
  • Proactively manage priorities to meet deadlines, identify underlying trends in data, and provide root cause analysis
  • High level of decisiveness, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is willing to interface with frontline users and identify creative solutions
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Quantitative, analytical, and problem resolution ability with a high degree of motivation
  • College Degree and/or equivalent experience required
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, speak English language
  • Must possess strong ethics and integrity
  • Critical thinker with the ability to see business implications of strategic initiatives
  • Team leader skills with strong customer orientation and field experience.
  • Skilled organization and interpersonal interactions.
