Thomson Thrift is currently seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join our team. In this role, the Project Manager would be responsible for managing a multifamily construction project from start to finish, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project throughout the development and construction phases.Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and construction of the project from start to finish, managing a team of professionals including architectural, engineering and construction personnel
- Manage project budget, ensuring cost overruns don’t occur
- Track project milestones and ensure project stays on schedule
- Manage and review client/subcontractor contracts
- Conduct regular job site inspections, ensuring all construction complies with local building codes and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related experience in multifamily construction/management
- Superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of federal and state construction laws, regulations and industry practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities
Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Previous experience working with senior-level management teams
- Current OSHA-30 Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
