Job description

We are currently seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our team for our North Charleston area, Darby Communities! You will be responsible for completing work orders, preparing apartments for new Customers, maintaining the facilities (laundry room, fitness center, grounds, etc...) and other required tasks.

$500 Sign-On Bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Meet deadlines and quality standards in preparation of Apartments for turnover
  • Document time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary and potentially a technician if Supervisor role

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc...)
  • Familiarity with and capacity to utilize maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented--and Team Spirit as well
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must complete a job application along with the submission of and positive results from professional employment references (supervisors only), a credit check and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

License/Certification:
