This is a grant funded assignment with a projected end date of 06-30-2024 with renewal based on available funds and the needs of MCCCD.

Job Summary
Provides operational support related to facility events and meetings. Schedules, sets up and removes furniture, equipment, catering and signage for meetings or events. The position also assists with audio visual equipment set-up and other technical needs. Provides front line customer service and level one technology support and troubleshooting. Schedules and plans the logistics of events, classes, and meetings.
Essential Functions
60% Performs facility set-up of furniture and/or basic equipment for meetings or events
10% Assists with audio visual set-up and troubleshooting
10% Assists with vehicle and room scheduling
10% Maintains directional signage for events and meetings
10% Assists with catering; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and one year of directly related experience such as property and materials receipt, delivery, disposition/set-up or document imaging, archiving and distribution.
There is no substitution or equivalency allowable for the High School Diploma or GED.
Desired Qualifications
A. Experience with room set-up for meetings or other events
B. Experience with audio-visual equipment
C. Experience with web applications such as Google calendar and Microsoft Office suite
Special Working Conditions
Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver's license is required; must meet minimum standards regarding driving: http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/vehicle.htm#requirements; Working evenings will be required; Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate’s own expense; Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations; May require numerous evenings or weekends; May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen; May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
