Description:
Reports directly to the Administrative Director for Rehabilitation services. This position is an advanced clinical nurse whom provides coordination of the timely and accurate completion and submittal of the IRF-PAI (Patient Assessment Instrument) within designated time frames to the Centers for Medicare Services. This individual is responsible for educating the rehabilitation physicians, nursing and therapy regarding areas of improvement. The assessment Coordinator has access to confidential patient and employee/organizational information and maintains confidentiality of all information. Estimated salary range for this position is $69617.60 - $92591.41 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Bachelors Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse Additional Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in rehabilitation. Utilization/auditing experience required. Coding experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration and negotiation skills required. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
