Job Overview
The Pump Assembly Manager is responsible for the assembly and disassembly of sub-components and finished products as well as the testing of positive displacement, rotary gear pumps. This position requires basic manufacturing experience and mechanical ability working with different tools and equipment. Must comprehend and follow standard work and defined operating procedures, while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency as top priority. This position will require working with and overseeing another individual who will aid the in the assembly process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate sub-assembly of components, utilizing operating procedures and quality standards
- Read component and pump drawings
- Disassembly of sub-components
- Qualification of new and salvaged components for reassembly
- Evaluation of components form, fit and function
- Verification of components in the bill of materials
- Follow all company quality standards and procedures
- Follow and maintain all safety procedures
- Properly using and maintaining all shop equipment, tools and measuring devices
- Organization of the work area to ensure productive operation
- Perform additional functions as requested by management

Preferred, but not required qualifications
- A high school degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic operational knowledge of shop equipment and tooling
- An ability to identify opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing processes and to contribute ideas for operational improvement
Physical Requirements
The Pump Assembly Manager is fast-paced and physical, at times, demanding several physical attributes, including:
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to work on his or her feet for at least 8 hours
- The ability to periodically work beyond the scheduled shift, if necessary
- Ability to work in a noisy environment

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
