Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Overview:
The Quality Assurance Inspector will audit, inspect, train, and educate the team and customers on all install energy-saving measures for the California Public Utilities customer base participating in the Energy Saving Assistance Program (ESAP). Following the structural guidelines established by the Energy Savings Assistance Program and California Installation Standard Manual. Quality Assurance Inspector is expected to follow program guidelines when installing the energy-saving measures and educate customers on the energy-saving measures installed. Inspectors should have the ability to provide outstanding customer service and good communication skills.

- The Quality Assurance Inspector reports to Field Supervisor and Office Administrator
The Position:
We’re looking for a Weatherization Specialist. Our pay range is $18.00-$20.00 per hour DOE plus incentives.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Must have two years of experience working for Energy Conservation programs or similar trades like HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, or Handyman.
- Successful complete certification training or any other required training
- Conduct structural in-home energy-saving measures installments at customer’s homes, apartments, and mobile homes
- Educate customers on the energy-saving measures installed
- Report to schedule appointments on time and prepared
- Maintain accurate customer records, files, forms, and paperwork
- Stay updated on program requirements and standards
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, staff, and utility company representatives
- Participate in the routine meeting, workshops, and training as directed by the Field Supervisor or Program Coordinator
- Responsible for the excellent image of the company while on company time
- Responsible for performing other duties/tasks assigned by the Field Supervisor or Program Administrator
- Prepare job sites implementing weatherization-safe work practices.
- Provide hands-on training to Weatherization workers/installers at work sites.
- Extensive carpentry
- Experience Installing Solid core doors.
- Perform/audit entrance door modification.
- Experience Installing weather-stripping
- Reviews work in progress and complete work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Must have an active California Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Reliable transportation
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Solid math skills
