We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician I- 3rd Shift in La Crosse WI.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician I to join our 3rd shift Quality Assurance Team in La Crosse, WI.

The Quality Assurance Technician I supports Agropur’s commitment to food safety & quality by monitoring and verifying production parameters in accordance with Quality programs. The Quality Assurance Technician I is responsible for ensuring organization standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed to preserve integrity of the products while providing feedback for continuous improvements for the Quality System.

  • Enforce all aspects of the plant’s quality functions in compliance with plant and corporate level standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and company safety policies.
  • Approve all finished batches and verifies they are prepared using the correct ingredient quantities according to the manufacturing record.
  • Review and Approve all labels used in production.
  • Verify and correct any changes made to production paperwork, components, documentation, and labels used for the production lines.
  • Conduct start-up inspections and hourly checks on production lines.
  • Approve production lines for operation and individual parts for use based on equipment examination and surface sampling.
  • Perform various laboratory testing including in-line sensory, in-line titratable acidity, in-line pH, flow agent evaluation, ATP swabbing, equipment sponge swabbing, and in-line production sampling.

What you need:

The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Science field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum one (1) year production/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and sampling requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and FDA required.
