Position Summary: The College Savings Operations Quality Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring the quality of data input for all of College Savings Plan Operations. Responsible for the review, analysis and completion of all due diligence associated with the 529 account documentation and file maintenance reviews.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all department policies, government regulations, and compliance requirements involving Section 529 College Savings Plans.
  • Complete verification reviews of all newly established accounts for accuracy, compliance and account owner identity information through a variety of reporting services.
  • Ensure all College Savings Plan financial transactions adhere to all department policies, government regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Complete internal reviews of financial transactions and account information through various reporting methods to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and monitor accounts and transactions daily for any potentially fraudulent activity using various reporting systems and procedures.
  • Develop tracking for purposes of reporting accuracy standards to College Savings leadership on any deficiencies.
  • Communicate deficiencies in accuracy and/or expectations with CSP officers, managers, and supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain effective oral and written communication with production and operations areas to ensure all are properly informed of positive and negative feedback.
  • Serve as back-up for all College Savings Plan operational duties; including input of enrollment forms, contributions, daily work and end of day activity processing
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • One year 529 College Savings experience preferred.
  • Quality control experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial software.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – may occasionally involve lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
