Job Description:

Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. Capable of using various inspection equipment including, but not limited to comparators, calipers, micrometers, pins, and thread gages to ensure conformance with quality standards.

Document findings in electronic systems and hardcopy records. Capable of using Windows-based programs such as Outlook and Word.

Performs basic quality techniques to track, analyze and report on materials, processes, and products using MS Word and Excel based programs to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.

Work Elements (in order of priority):

• Perform inspections, auditing and reporting.

• Documentation in electronic system and hardcopy records.

• Provide miscellaneous support to other departments on as needed basis.

• Understanding of “Good Documentation Practices”.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Technical training or skills in related fields.

• Demonstrate skills in GD&T or ability to read and intercept blueprint/technical drawing proficiently.

• English speaking and writing skills minimum.

• Mechanical Inspection.

• Visual Inspection skills.

• Demonstrate proficiency with measurement devices.

• General computer entry skills.

• Ability to use magnification inspection methods for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
