About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and professional Quality Control Inspector to join our Manufacturing department. If you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision, then we are interested in you. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting products and systems to ensure they meet the set specifications and standards of the company.
In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding physical fitness. You will also possess in-depth knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop training modules to ensure quality expectations are met
- Identify, estimate and correct deviations and defects in the quality system process
- Inspect, monitor, record and report quality data for production and incoming inspection activities, in order to assist in improving process and quality performance
- Ensure drawings comply with latest engineering specifications and are documented as well as followed by manufacturing
- Identify quality concerns and train the production team to improve product excellence
- Enhance quality across the manufacturing organization and provide stable performance to customers
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors in products
You
- Have great written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Have basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
- Are able to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
- Have current knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
- Have an understanding of target market and consumer needs
- Have experience reading blueprints.
- Have experience writing documentation and reports
- Are a team player and are able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Are comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
Nice to Have
- Manufacturing experience: 1 year
- Quality inspection experience: 3 years
