About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and professional Quality Manager to join our Manufacturing Department. You will be responsible for internal and external returns, managing reverse logistics and scheduling.

In addition, you will work closely with the customer support team to ensure a smooth returns process for customers and will also monitor the pulse of Lambda product returns to identify indications of poor product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop an effective quality control processes
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
  • Design and implement quality training programs across the manufacturing team and wider Lambda organization as required
  • Investigate customer complaints regarding quality; develop and lead execution of action plans to resolve customer complaints
  • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards
  • Monitor and organize ongoing RMA requests and reverse logistics requests
  • Generate timely reports measuring key performance indicators and action plans to improve performance
  • Generate weekly reports; RMA trends and monthly comparisons of top component/device returned/dollars/percentages and RMA analysis by brand/supplier

You

  • Have four years of education from a college or university; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideally, we are seeking candidates who have experience in Service Management of technical instruments/products and services and high tech/contract manufacturing
  • Have extensive knowledge of quality management systems, processes and procedures.
  • Have effective root cause and corrective action skills including 8D, A3, etc
  • Have experience working within reverse logistics or RMA center environments
  • Are a flexible, hands on, team player with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, reverse logistics, or analytics
  • Proven account management experience
