Position Summary
Plans, coordinates, and directs the quality assurance system designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards and minimizing waste.
Responsible for Quality System and Environmental System, including procedure generation and implementation.
Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and how these translate into product process and system improvements.
Responsible for internal and vendor audit programs.
Formulates and maintains quality objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and conformance.
Provides instruction and guidance on all Dimensional and non-destructive inspection systems.
Directs workers engaged in quality, system management activities to ensure continuous improvement of products, processes and services.
Prioritizes his daily functions to maximize the continuous manufacture of acceptable parts; plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability; investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
Responsible for the development of techniques and procedures for inspecting and testing company products, and for conducting research on product defects in order to enhance product and/or quality standards based on this research and analysis.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; five to twelve years’ experience in the metal working industry (Close & Open Die forging) with focus on quality function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Five to ten years’ experience AS9100D & NADCAP NDT and Heat Treat (AMS2750 Ref F) documentation and compliance for respective external/internal Audits
3. As9100D Certified lead auditor
4. Certification for SAE AS9145, 8D Problem Solving, Process FMEA, Control Plans , MSA, Process Control, and Human Factors
5. Well versed on metrology CMM, Rommer Arm, CAD Models CATIA Solidworks
6. Well versed on GD & T
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
