Lafayette County is looking for a Radiologic MRI Lead to join our team at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County (MHLC) located in Darlington, WI. This is a regular full-time position with starting pay of $37.30 per hour and full benefit package eligibility, including state retirement (pension).

Supervisory Responsibilities: The MRI technologist Team Lead works under the direction of a Radiologist to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision for the technical detail. The Technologist assumes responsibility for the safety of their patients and colleagues in their designated work area and takes corrective action when necessary to maintain such safety. At the direction of the Imaging Manager, the Team Leader oversees the technical staff in the designated section/s of the department. S/he oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care and acts as a role model and facilitator working in collaboration with all levels of departmental personnel.

Position Qualifications:

• Graduate from an Approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Radiographer
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current in all Required Course & Continuing Education Requirements of ARRT
• 1 – 3 Years’ Experience as a Staff Radiology Technician
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• CT experience preferred
• 2+ Years Supervisory Experience Preferred
