HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, formerly named Brandon Regional Hospital, is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) on a full-time basis. The Rad Tech performs routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films and proceeds in duties on own initiative in compliance with policies, practices and procedures prescribed by immediate supervisor. Night shift availability is required for consideration.

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology (Associate-level degree)

  • Current ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 (two) to 4 (four) years of vocational preparation
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year recent imaging experience in an acute-care setting preferred
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Lifting 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of patients/objects/equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
