Summary:
ArbiterSports offers a complete suite of SaaS tools that allows athletic directors, assigners, coordinators, and officials to easily manage all aspects of their responsibilities. Our Software Engineers are responsible for software development in a fast-paced agile environment. They are responsible for the architecture, development, and maintenance of our complex, high-performance web applications, APIs, large scale databases, and other technologies. Because this position plays a role in mentoring other developers and QA engineers as well as communicating with other employees throughout the company, excellent communication skills are a must.
Essential Job Functions:
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Identifying web-based user interactions.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React workflows.
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- Documenting application changes and developing updates.
- Review requirements with other developers for completeness and accuracy.
- Design software and technology architectures according to industry standard best practices, including effective cache and session management strategies.
- Participate in team planning, estimation, status, and retrospective meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a React Developer
- Previous experience working with any of the following is a plus; Ant Design, competent libraries, Redux or TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React Dev Tools, Webpack, Jest and RTL.
- Experience with user interface design.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Team Player, willing to work with others to find the best solutions.
