Job description
JOB DUTIES
-Selling customers on the phone and email (soft sales, not cold calling : ) ) on why we are the premier school for music lessons, and converting them to registered clients.
-Interacting with families and students
-Adjusting student schedules/billing
-Organizing files/documents
-Keeping school clean and organized
-Ensuring school operations go smoothly
-Reporting to school managers
-Using phone scripts.
-Outbound sales follow up calls
-Attending staff meetings
-Ability to multi-task
-Tardy and forgetful people need not apply
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
-Amazing articulate phone voice/Strong phone sales skills
-You not need to know anything about music or be able to play an instrument, although it can be a plus. This is a customer service/sales position.
-Strong customer service background (restaurants, service industry, sales, retail, banking).
- Looking for someone who LOVES people, isn't afraid to sell with their personality and is looking for a unique career opportunity.
- Attention to detail and double checking work a must
- Must have reliable internet, computer, and cell phone
- strong verbal communication required and strong typing abilities for fast processing of information/data

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Set pay increases based on sales goals.

SCHEDULES to include some or all of the following hours:
MON-FRI 12 PM - 9 PM
SAT & SUN 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
SAT 1-7 PM

The front desk sales/customer service roles are fast paced positions that are crucial for the operations and growth of the school, and are meant for reliable go-getters and can-doers who excel under pressure.
The Irvine School of Music is hiring a full time sales/customer service associate to add to our front desk team - this is a sales and customer service position.
Music background is not required although it can be helpful!
