Overview:
Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, a premier senior living services non-profit organization, has a great opportunity to join our team at The Village of Westland as a Receptionist. We invite you to help us create new possibilities in quality living for the seniors we serve.
Why work for us? Our staff tell us they often leave work feeling good about the work they did and that they feel they personally make a difference here. The ideal candidate will have a love of seniors and will be available for both day shift (7am - 3pm) and afternoon shift (1pm - 9pm). We are looking for someone that can fill in when other staff are on vacation or not available. Not many regularly scheduled hours.
Employees have early access to earned wages through PayActiv.
Starting range between $13.49 - $16.26, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Greets family and visitors, answering phones, answers general inquiries, assists and directs to the appropriate parties, performs clerical tasks and assists residents as needed. Must be able to communicate in a professional, pleasant, helpful and positive manner.
Must be able to address emergency and non-emergency situations calmly, thoroughly and apply common sense to the resolution of problems.
Qualifications:
Education : High School Graduate/ General Education Degree (GED)
Experience : One to two years related experience
Computer Skills
Must have proficient skills in computers and Microsoft Office Software.
