Current opportunity with WorkLB:

Recreation Aide/Leader (part-time with more emphasis on flexibility)

Under immediate supervision, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or other learning environment; prepare instructional materials and provide routine clerical support; perform related duties as assigned.
Payrate: $16.57 per hour

Examples of duties:

• Maintain control and discipline of students participating in playground, physical education, meal periods and recreational activities; communicate rules and expectations to students; settle disputes; prepare written disciplinary referrals as appropriate.
• Establish positive relationships with students and staff; promote good public relations with parents and the local community.
